Want to work in schools on your own terms? We're looking for confident, motivated people to join our cover supervisor team in the Dagenham area.

You might be a

• Sports coach or PE enthusiast
• Graduate looking for your next step
• Aspiring teacher wanting classroom experience
• Social worker, residential support worker or behaviour specialist

If you can lead a group, stay calm and build quick rapport with young people, you already have what it takes.

What the role entails

• Supervising classes when the regular teacher is absent, keeping the room calm, safe and productive
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans and work left by the teacher (no planning or marking) - You are NOT expected to teach
• Takes the register and reports absences or lateness
• Managing behaviour using the school's policies and rewards/sanctions

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update service (or willingness to apply, we'll guide you)
• Right to work in the UK
