Quality Controller

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Print Quality Controller to join a busy client in Headcorn. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all printed products meet customer specifications and company quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect printed materials throughout the production process.
• Conduct quality checks on colour, print alignment, finish, and overall presentation.
• Identify and report print defects, inconsistencies, or production issues.
• Work closely with machine operators and production staff to resolve quality concerns.
• Ensure customer specifications and job requirements are followed accurately.
• Maintain quality control records and complete relevant documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a print, manufacturing, or quality control environment is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects and inconsistencies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic computer skills for recording quality checks and production information.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
