About this role
We would particularly welcome applicants who can demonstrate: Established experience as a practice nurse within general practice, preferably with experience of clinical leadership or taking a lead role within a nursing team. Strong clinical leadership and the ability to support, motivate and develop a nursing team. Effective communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. A commitment to delivering safe, effective and compassionate patient care. Experience of managing long-term conditions and delivering preventative healthcare. Experience of QOF, clinical indicators, clinical audit or quality improvement within primary care. Experience of clinical governance, safeguarding and infection prevention and control. The ability to work closely with the GP and Practice Management Team and contribute positively to the wider development of the practice. A willingness to develop knowledge and skills in areas of primary care where you have less experience. A proactive and positive approach to learning and professional development. The ability to recognise areas for improvement and work collaboratively to achieve agreed clinical and service objectives. Prescribing within your nursing scope of practice would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
