Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a busy housing call centre team in Honiton. This temporary, part-time position offers 22.5 hours per week across three days, with flexible working arrangements available.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable individual who is a strong team player. The anticipated start date is 2 November 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a key role in delivering excellent customer service within a community-focused organisation.

Shift Patterns

7:00am to 3:00pm

Key Duties

• Answering incoming calls and responding to customer enquiries.
• Delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced call centre environment.
• Accurately recording and updating information on internal systems.
• Processing requests and maintaining detailed records.
• Data entry and administration duties.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a call centre or customer service environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong

Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Accurate and efficient

data entry experience.

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
