Commissioning Manager - LTC

You will be accountable for

Support the development of strategic commissioning frameworks across designated portfolio areas. Engage with provider collaboratives, NHS Trusts, primary care and the independent sector as appropriate, Maintain oversight and accountability of lead provider arrangements to ensure delivery against the strategic commissioning frameworks. Apply commissioning skills and knowledge to national policy to ensure application to the local population health intelligence to drive the ICBs strategic commissioning approach and reduce health inequalities. Work with other ICB clusters across the Midlands to identify and realise opportunities for Joint Commissioning. Develop skills and competencies required for strategic and tactical commissioning functions including PHM, analytical and contractual/legal. The postholder will deputise, as appropriate, for the Head of Programme Long Term Conditions and will oversee line management arrangements for staff across the Directorate.
