About this role
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic Assistant Psychologist to join the Bexley ADAPT Team, in a full-time 12-month fixed term post. The post holder will support and enhance the psychological care of clients under the ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective Disorders, Personality Disorders and Trauma) pathway, through inputting into the assessment and treatment process, and also gathering data to support service audit, evaluation and research.

The successful candidate will join a well-established, friendly multi-disciplinary team, which comprises professionals from psychiatry, nursing, social work, occupational therapy and admin, alongside a well-regarded psychological therapies team.
The post holder will support the provision of psychological assessment and interventions, group and individual, under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
The post holder will contribute to projects such as audit and staff training as needed by the service and have access to strong supervision and support structures alongside local CPD events. This post will provide valuable experience for psychology graduates who plan to apply for further training in clinical psychology.

1 degree in Psychology.
