Care Assistant - Weekends

26 hours per week, 2 shifts per week, Saturday and Sunday, 7 am - 9 pm.

Please note public transport comes once every hour on weekends.

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Care Assistant to join our dementia care home team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.

Support residents with eating, drinking, and mobility needs.

Build positive relationships and provide companionship.

Encourage participation in activities and social engagement.

Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff.

Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.

Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
