Area Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for an

Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in

Leicester!

Contract Information

Pay Rate

£12.71 per hour

Hours

12 hour shifts

Shifts - Days, Nights, Weekends - full flexibility required to cover shifts Monday to Sunday

SIA license - Door Supervisor or Security Guard - Must be able to drive and have your own transportation

Your Time at Work

As an Area Security Officer you will be responsible for

• Prioritising the safety, security, and service of the site, its staff, car parks, customers, our client, and property.
• Being polite, caring, and understanding when supporting employees, guests, and members of the public.
• Managing situations that may involve conflict, in line with training and policy guidelines.
• Maintaining attention to detail and being alert to any changes that may indicate an increased security risk or unusual situation.
• Inducting visitors, monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols, and performing any other ad hoc duties as required.

• A SIA Licence
• A checkable personal history including periods of education, employment, travel, and unemployment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Smart appearance
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Computer literacy and Competent in Microsoft applications (Key Board skills)
• A reliable and responsible attitude to work, including the ability to be proactive
• Be totally flexible, reliable, and adaptable in their work environment
