Van Driver

The Best Connection Group are seeking an

experienced Van Driver to join our well-established client,

DHL Express, at their site based at

Leeds for the busy seasonal period from

November through to Christmas, with permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

45 hours worked

80 - 100 drops and collections per shift

Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday mornings

Responsibilities

Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
Following all airport security procedures

Requirements

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must

Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)

Complete a

criminal record check (paid for by us)

Have a

5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)

Provide a

5-year address history

Have

valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification

Full

UK Driving Licence, [Category B] (required)
