About this role

The Best Connection Group are seeking an

experienced LGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client,

DHL International, at their site based at

Cross Green, Leeds for the busy seasonal period from

November through to Christmas.

Trunking work - no handball

Monday - Friday, 2000 starts - finish around 0600

Responsibilities

Driving a Class 1 vehicle to and from

Slough

Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points

Requirements

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must

Pass a driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)

Complete a

criminal record check (paid for by us)

Have a

2-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)

Provide a

2-year address history

Have

valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification

UK Driving Licence, [Category CE] (required)

Drivers CPC

Digital tachograph card
