Clinical Lead Advanced Practitioner for Community Hospital

The post holder will

Provide visible clinical and professional leadership to Advanced Practitioners (APs) and trainee Advanced Practitioners (tAPs), supporting development across the four pillars of Advanced Practice. Support workforce planning, recruitment, retention and development of the Advanced Practice workforce. Lead and strengthen governance, supervision and development arrangements for Advanced Practice, working closely with clinical, operational and education colleagues. Provide clinical and educational supervision, coaching, mentorship and pastoral support to APs and tAPs. Maintain regular advanced clinical practice, providing expert clinical leadership and support to the wider multidisciplinary team. Lead and contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, audit, research and education, promoting evidence-based and high-quality patient care. Work collaboratively with senior leaders to develop services, influence practice and maximise the contribution of Advanced Practitioners across the directorate
