We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Braintree Village. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors, retailers, and colleagues. You'll take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness while ensuring agreed service levels and cleaning schedules are consistently achieved.

As a Cleaner, you'll be responsible for carrying out daily cleaning tasks across your designated areas, ensuring all equipment is maintained in good working order and used safely. You'll develop a strong understanding of the cleaning methods, materials, and chemicals required for the role while adhering to all health and safety procedures and completing mandatory training. Whether working independently or as part of a wider team, you'll provide excellent service and help create a positive experience for everyone who visits the centre.

Role Responsibilities

-Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order

-Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules

-Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used

-Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training

-Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service

-Ability to communicate and read basic English

-Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

-Flexible and proactive approach to work

-Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude

-Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
