Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave.

Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, complex needs, and autism.

• 27.5 hours. Shifts will be between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. We operate a two week rolling rota.

What you’ll be doing

• All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.

• You will be required to operate hoists and will have previous experience of doing this.

• Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.

• Epilepsy training will be given; however, previous experience is required.

• Providing person centred care.
