Pastor in Charge of Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Christ Apostolic Church City of Light – CAC Skills Development Centre is seeking a committed, spiritually mature and enthusiastic Pastor to lead its Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

The successful candidate will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care and practical support to young people and young adults. The Pastor will develop programmes that strengthen their Christian faith, wellbeing, leadership skills and active participation in the life of the church.

Main Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

Preach, teach and lead Bible studies, prayer meetings and youth services.

Provide pastoral care, mentoring, counselling and spiritual guidance.

Organise youth worship programmes, conferences, retreats and social activities.

Develop programmes addressing education, careers, relationships, mental wellbeing and life skills.

Encourage young people to participate in worship, evangelism, music, media and community outreach.

Identify, train and supervise youth leaders and volunteers.

Maintain regular communication with parents, church leaders and ministry workers.

Promote safeguarding and maintain a safe environment for children and young adults.

Support the wider vision, services and activities of the church.

Provide regular ministry reports to the Senior Pastor and church leadership.
