Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.

Main Duties

• Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against documentation.

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with customer requirements.

• Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely within designated warehouse locations.

• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles as required.

• Support stock control processes including stock counts and inventory checks.

• Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and general housekeeping standards within the warehouse.

• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.

• Operate warehouse equipment (where trained and authorised).

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support the wider team.

• Accompany drivers and assist with deliveries / installs (when required).
