About this role

Your responsibilities will include

Undertaking routine and same-day GP consultations, predominantly face-to-face. Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and long-term conditions. Prescribing safely and appropriately, including medication reviews where needed. Reviewing results, referrals, clinical correspondence and other appropriate clinical tasks. Making referrals and coordinating care with community, secondary care and wider multidisciplinary services. Providing home visits where clinically appropriate. Maintaining accurate, contemporaneous clinical records on EMIS Web. Working collaboratively with GP partners, salaried GPs, ANPs, practice nurses, HCAs, GP assistants, care navigators and administrative colleagues. Participating in clinical meetings, audit, quality improvement and practice development. Supporting the practices commitment to safeguarding, patient safety, equality, confidentiality and high standards of care. We are proud of our strong access model, excellent patient service and collaborative team culture. Routine appointments are generally available within one to two working days, and our skilled care navigation team helps ensure patients reach the right clinician or service promptly. This role would suit a GP who enjoys being part of a close-knit team, values continuity of care and wants to contribute to a progressive, well-run practice.
