Night-time Care Assistant

We’re recruiting for a night’s care assistant role based in the heart of Burton.

Our client is seeking experienced Care Assistants to assist in the care and support of the elderly in a care centre based in Burton. You will be assisting the established team of Carers in delivering a high standard of Care to service users. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities. Dementia care experience would be advantageous also.

Daily tasks will include

• Attend to client’s daily Hygiene and Nutritional needs

• Housekeeping duties

• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly

• Complying with health and safety

• Completion of paperwork when required.

To be suitable for this position you must have

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• Up to date mandatory training
• A Referenceable work history
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing opportunities

You will be working from 22:00 to 07:00 on various nights throughout the week.

Rate of pay for this role is £13.50 per hour
