Vehicle Technician

We are representing a reputable and independent automotive service centre in Bromyard that is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician

• Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturers' standards
• Ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes
• Reporting on vehicle conditions, safety, and performance to the Workshop Manager
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and work procedures at all times
• Maintaining high standards of work quality in a busy workshop environment
• Supporting team members and contributing to a positive team atmosphere

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician

• Relevant experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment
• Formal qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) is highly advantageous but not essential if extensive practical experience is demonstrated
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Good team player with a committed attitude
• Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
• Hold or be willing to obtain a Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licence (full training provided if necessary)
