Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter: Oxford

About the role

We're recruiting Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters to work at prestigious events and famous locations in and around Oxford. If you want work that fits around your life, with variety, a friendly team and the freedom to choose your own hours, this could be for you.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the catering team with food preparation and service
• Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and equipment
• Keeping kitchens and work areas clean, tidy and hygienic
• Setting up and clearing down at events
• Receiving and storing deliveries
• Following food hygiene and health & safety standards

What we're looking for

• Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
• A reliable, positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Good timekeeping and a professional approach
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team
• Students, parents and anyone wanting flexible work are all welcome

What we offer

• Competitive pay of £12.71 - £16.00 per hour
