Service Technician / Mechanic – Halesowen

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Halesowen. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have a Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months and have the right to work in the UK.

Service Technician Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Complete mechanical and fast-fit repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and vehicle faults
• Repair and replace tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components
• Carry out MOT-related repair work
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety

Service Technician Requirements

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Service Technician, Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
• Experience carrying out vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs
• Knowledge of tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months
• Right to work in the UK
