Vehicle Technician – Selly Oak, Birmingham

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership workshop in Selly Oak, Birmingham. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have at least 1 year of Vehicle Technician experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. MOT Tester status is advantageous but not essential.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, plus alternate

Saturdays 8

30am–1:00pm paid as overtime

Vehicle Technician Role

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension and electrical faults
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
• Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify vehicle faults
• Complete repairs to a high standard
• Record work completed and parts used accurately
• Advise on repair requirements where needed
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• Confident using diagnostic equipment and software
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
• MOT Tester Licence is advantageous but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
