Vehicle Technician – Oldbury

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, LCV Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a commercial fleet workshop in Oldbury. Applicants must have previous Vehicle technician experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.

£36,465 – £38,896 Basic + Overtime

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | 42.5 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
• Complete repairs to required safety and quality standards
• Accurately record completed maintenance and repair work
• Work closely with other Technicians and workshop colleagues

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic or LCV Technician
• Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence
• Right to work in the UK
