Mobile Vehicle Technician – Wolverhampton

Looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician role offering up to £34,000 basic, £42,000 OTE and no weekend working?

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Roadside Technician or Automotive Technician in Wolverhampton. Applicants must hold either a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant experience, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Mobile Vehicle Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair cars and light commercial vehicles at customer sites or roadside locations
• Work independently from a fully equipped support vehicle
• Maintain a fleet made up of approximately 75% LCVs and 25% cars
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Repair braking systems, clutches, gearboxes and associated components
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Complete accurate repair and service documentation

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or
• Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant experience
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mobile Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Technician
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop and mobile duties
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
