Triumph Consultants are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to support the day-to-day operation of the payroll service. Contract is for 12 months in Chichester PO19 1RQ.

Hybrid

Attendance to office Thursdays. The role is contractually office-based, although the team generally works from home with one designated office day each week. Training is office-based and you should expect more frequent office attendance initially, potentially daily, before moving to the usual hybrid arrangement.

Key requirements

Strong numeracy skills with accurate financial calculations.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Good analytical and problem-solving ability.

Able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure.

Adaptable and confident learning new systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

Provide efficient specialist administrative support across the team.

Process payroll payments, contracts, pay changes and personnel/pension records.

Use SAP or similar systems to process payroll and complete calculations.

Maintain accurate records and respond to telephone, email and written queries.

Provide advice to customers and managers while handling confidential financial information accurately.
