Class 1 Driver - Load strapping, deliveries in and around London - occassional tramping

Pay Rate

Basic

£17.00 + £2.05 holiday pay = £19.05 per hour

Overtime

£18.70 + £2.26 holiday pay = £20.96 per hour for hours worked over 51.75 hours per week

Night-out allowance

£24 per night out

Working Hours

Monday to Friday - 06:00 starts - Nights Out required from time to time

12 months Class 1 essential

Roles & Responsibilities

• Driving and operating a Class 1 vehicle
• Curtain Sider
• Flat Beds
• Deliveries in and around London to Timber Merchants and Trade Stores in and around London
• Load strapping is required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing transport paperwork
• Complying with driver hours and working time regulations

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
