Healthcare Assistant

Job Description Please also see the Job Description attached under Supporting Documents About the Role As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with our GPs, Practice Nurses and wider clinical team to provide a range of clinical and supportive services to our patients. Experience in the following areas would be desirable: Venepuncture Wound care Clip and suture removal Long-term condition annual reviews ECGs Diet and lifestyle advice Urinalysis and sample processing Blood pressure checks B12 administration and vaccinations Assisting in GP clinics, including minor surgery, coils and implants Home visits Previous experience within general practice or primary care would be advantageous, but full training and support can be provided for the right candidate. You will be expected to undertake additional clinical and technical procedures as required, following appropriate training and once competence has been demonstrated.
