The Best Connection are actively seeking a

Recycling Operative, who is looking to progress, is flexible working in various departments, and can work both Saturday and Sunday weekly (with two flexible week days off)...

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role working across various departments on site. You'll play a key part in supporting the recycling operation and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.

Previous experience in a similar working environment would be advantageous...

Shifts / pay rates

Monday to Friday

£13.17 per hour

Saturday

£19.75 per hour

Sunday

£26.34 per hour

Roles and responsibilities

• Working on the

sorting belt to separate recyclable materials

• Carrying out

general cleaning duties, including cleaning down machinery and work areas

• Assisting with the

basic maintenance and upkeep of machinery (e.g., clearing blockages, reporting faults)

• Supporting different departments as required depending on workload
• Following all

health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

• Ensuring materials are handled and processed correctly
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

• Someone

health & safety conscious with good awareness of site rules

• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment
• Previous recycling or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
