Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (C) vehicle safely and efficiently in line with legal and company requirements.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across local and regional routes.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects or concerns promptly.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow route plans and delivery instructions, maintaining accurate timing and records.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle to a high standard.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, including safe loading/unloading practices.
• Drivers mate will be provided

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid UK

Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

Driver CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).

Digital tachograph knowledge and ability to comply with tachograph rules.

• Strong understanding of

UK road safety and safe driving practices.

• Experience driving

HGV vehicles in a multi-drop or delivery-focused environment (preferred).

• Ability to complete

vehicle walkaround checks and report issues accurately.

• Good level of

route planning and navigation skills to meet delivery schedules.
