What skills and experience we're looking for

JOB PURPOSE

To support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education process by providing care and supervision skills to students, including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs, by utilising a good standard of practical knowledge and skills.

Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed with extremely high standards of behaviour and respect. Our students with additional needs are a vital part of the school community and they all access mainstream lessons as a significant part of their timetables. Their remaining time is spent in the Base – a suite of rooms dedicated to additional support.
