Early Years Room Leader

We are looking for a confident, caring and enthusiastic Early Years Room Leader to join our team at Hockley Community Day Nursery.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is ready to take on more responsibility, lead a room and support a team to provide high-quality care and education for young children.

As Room Leader, you will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of your room, including

Leading and supporting your room team

Creating a warm, welcoming and stimulating learning environment

Ensuring high standards of care, teaching and safeguarding

Supporting curriculum planning and children's development

Monitoring children's progress and identifying where additional support may be needed

Building positive relationships with parents and families

Supporting staff development and maintaining high expectations across the room

Working closely with nursery management and the SENDCo

We are particularly interested in someone who genuinely understands Early Years practice and is passionate about giving children the strongest possible start.
