QTS Cover Teacher

About the role

We are looking for reliable, confident Cover Teachers to join our supply pool across secondary schools in Waltham Forest and Essex. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, keep classes engaged and maintain a calm, positive learning environment. Day-to-day and long-term bookings are available, so you can choose the work pattern that suits you.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver set lessons across a range of subjects and key stages
• Manage classroom behaviour using the school's policies
• Support pupils' learning and keep progress moving in the teacher's absence
• Leave clear feedback for the class teacher at the end of each day
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

About you

• QTS or equivalent (ECTs welcome)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Flexible, adaptable and quick to build rapport with pupils
• Experience in UK schools preferred, but not essential
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
