Bank Oncology Physiotherapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced physiotherapist to join our specialist oncology AHP team at The Christie Private Care. As a bank physiotherapist, you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of a physiotherapy lead, advanced physiotherapists, complementary therapists, an advanced dietitian and dietetic lead. Day to day you will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering a tailored oncology physiotherapy service to private patients in our care. The role is primarily based in an in-patient setting, with the occasional requirement to see patients in an out-patient or day-case setting. As part of the role, you will support the physiotherapy lead and senior clinicians with the development of service initiatives and contribute to the departments clinical governance. You will be responsible for maintaining your own personal development and ensuring up to date knowledge of best practice and guidelines. You will take responsibility for your own training and ensure that mandatory training is always compliant.
