Religious Worker - Sikh

Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha is seeking a committed and practising Sikh to support the religious and community activities of the Gurdwara.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Gurdwara's established religious leaders, management committee and volunteers to assist in delivering the Gurdwara's daily religious and community programmes.

Assist the Head Granthis with the preparation and organisation of weddings (Anand Karaj), funerals (Antam Sanskar) and special Paath programmes.

Prepare the Darbar Sahib for daily and special religious programmes.

Assist Raagis with vocal accompaniment and harmonium (Vaja) during Kirtan programmes.

Assist with the preparation and distribution of Karah Parshad to the congregation.

Welcome members of the Sangat, assist at the reception desk and provide information about Gurdwara services.

Support Langar and other Seva activities as required.
