Education, Research & Innovation Lead Pharmacist

To support and develop the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation workforce ensuring they have the right knowledge, skills, values and behaviours to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care across a range of health and social care settings. To provide Medicines Optimisation advice and support to the Children and Families Care Group focusing onmedicine value programs that utilise medicine, finance and patient level data to identify areas of inappropriate medicine use and variations in prescribing patterns to drive up quality and reduce waste. To support and develop the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation governance infrastructure to provide assurance to the Director on service matters related to medicines safety. To support the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation department in transitioning to a research and innovation active department with stronger links to local HEIs. Play an active role in the Trusts Research and Innovation Department identifying opportunities for collaboration and commercial and strategic partnerships which support our ambitions to be innovation and research-led.
