Hygiene Operative - Tunnel Tech South

Role Overview

The Hygiene Operative works as part of the phase 1 or 2/3 teams. Responsible for routine hygiene for all production operations, as well as defined tasks in each department.

Main Duties

• Routine hygiene of all equipment and work areas at all key stages of the process

• Washing tunnels, floors and buildings to a specified standard

• Washing tunnel nets

• Cleaning out phase 1 bunkers

• Cleaning of phase 1 hoving line

• Manually opening and closing tunnel doors

• Connecting tunnel nets

• Application of mushroom spawn

• Maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with Company rules and regulations

Competencies to perform the role

• Have a flexible approach to work

• Be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Be conscientious with strong attention to detail

• Self-motivated and with the ability to work in a team

Experience and Qualifications

• Good level of spoken English

• Relevant experience in an agricultural business is desirable but not essential
