The Role

As a

Senior Parts Sales Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting customers, developing parts sales and helping to maintain an efficient and well-organised parts department.

Your responsibilities will include

Processing parts enquiries and providing accurate identification and information
Advising customers on suitable parts and solutions
Supporting and developing parts sales to help achieve branch targets
Providing 24-hour call-out support as part of a rota
Assisting with stockroom and inventory duties
Supporting all areas of the parts department as required
Liaising with customers and responding to queries professionally
Keeping customers updated on the progress of their enquiries and orders
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is processed efficiently
Supporting departmental quality and customer service standards
Maintaining an organised and professional parts department
Ensuring good health and safety practices are followed
Completing training and development activities as required
Supporting the wider team and undertaking other reasonable duties when required

About You

We're looking for a

Senior Parts

Sales Advisor who can demonstrate

Previous experience in a similar parts role
Experience working within a busy automotive, commercial vehicle or truck-related environment
Good parts knowledge and the ability to identify the correct components
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A professional telephone manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organisational and administration skills
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive approach to maintaining high customer service standards
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A valid right to work in the UK

Previous experience as a

Senior Parts Sales Advisor within the commercial vehicle sector would be particularly advantageous.
