Disrepair Surveyor

What's involved with this role

Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to support their client to investigate housing disrepair claims and identify defects in residential properties. You will provide technical advice, specify repair works and support the resolution of legal disrepair cases. Contract is for 6 months in Bristol BS4 3EZ.

37 Monday - Friday

Key requirements

A relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction or a related subject.

You have experience surveying residential properties and identifying building defects.

You have good knowledge of building construction, repairs and property maintenance.

You have experience preparing repair specifications and technical reports.

You have strong communication and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities

Investigate disrepair claims and inspect properties to identify defects.

Diagnose issues such as damp and mould, leaks, roofing and structural defects.

Assess liability and specify the remedial works required.

Monitor repairs and carry out post-inspections where needed.

Prepare reports and provide technical evidence to support legal claims.
