About the RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all site users.

Key Responsibilities

-General cleaning of office and communal areas

-Cleaning washrooms, kitchenettes, and welfare facilities

-Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting

-Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

-Replenishing consumables where required

-Following health and safety procedures at all times

-Reporting any issues or defects to management

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
