Nightshift Workshop Technician

Evolve Supply Chain are looking for a skilled and reliable Nightshift Fitter/ Technician to join the team, maintaining and repairing LGVs, trailers, vans and cars to the highest safety and compliance standards.

The hours for this postion are 44 hours per week, 4 full nights + 4 hours on a Friday. Salary in region of £47,949.63 per annum.

What you’ll be doing

• Inspecting, servicing and repairing a range of commercial vehicles.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and vehicle defects when required.
• Completing workshop documentation accurately and on time.
• Working closely with drivers, team leaders and the wider workshop team.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in LGV Maintenance & Repair
• Time-served apprenticeship in LGV Maintenance
• Current LGV Licence
• Experience working on LGVs/trailers
• Good knowledge of transport legislation and vehicle compliance
• Team player with a flexible approach to nightshift working
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
