Our client, a well-established specialist in steel profiling and plasma cutting, is looking to recruit an experienced

Plasma Cutter to join their growing team in Wednesbury.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC plasma cutting machinery to cut steel plate and profiles to specification.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working closely with the production team to meet customer deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating plasma cutting machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Experience within a steel profiling or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday

08:00 - 17:00

Friday

08:00 - 15:00

Pay Rate

• £14.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
