About this role
We seek to appoint exam invigilators to cover exams throughout the year.Salary - Grade 3 (Hourly rate £13.46)General aim
- To ensure that all students are provided with a calm environment for their exams.
Specific Responsibilities
- Make sure the right candidates are in the right seats.
- Fill out the attendance register for each exam.
- Give out instructions and start/finish times.
- Ensure candidates are provided with the correct materials for each exam.
- Continually monitor the candidates to prevent unfair practice.
- Assist candidates with any queries they may have.
- Alert Exams Officer of any candidate malpractice.
General Responsibilities
- To be aware of and respond appropriately to any health and safety issues, including fire alarm & fire drills.
- To work as part of a team and respond to colleagues in a positive and supportive manner.
