Registered Practice Nurse with specialist interest in Diabetes Care

The job duties include, but are not exclusive to: Deliver diabetes related care (where suitable training has been undertaking), or demonstrate a desire to undertake relevant training including in diabetes, COPD, and asthma Carry out general observations and offering tailored lifestyle advice for various health checks and initiatives. Including health promotion and motivational interviewing Manage wound care, including acute, chronic, and post-operative wounds. Assessing for infection and promoting wound healing, including ulcer care Provide routine, childhood and seasonal immunisations as required Travel advice and vaccinations Perform cytology and female health care Ability to recognise and manage anaphylaxis or cardiac arrest situation in line with current UK guidelines.
