Teaching Assistant - TA - Chigwell

Luma Education Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Chigwell.

This is an opportunity to work closely with pupils across KS1 and KS2, providing tailored support and helping children overcome barriers to learning within a specialist educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and small-group support to pupils across KS1 and KS2.

Support children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

Work alongside teachers to support classroom learning and activities.

Help pupils remain engaged and focused throughout the school day.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence.

Build trusting and professional relationships with pupils.

Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupils' progress.

Help maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and the wider school team.
