SEN Primary School Teacher - Hinckley

Luma Education Recruitment are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a specialist primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils.

Adapt the primary curriculum to ensure all pupils can access and participate in learning.

Support children with a range of special educational needs and additional learning requirements.

Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.

Monitor, assess and record pupil progress.

Develop positive relationships with pupils and encourage confidence and independence.

Use a range of teaching, communication and sensory strategies to support learning.

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff and other professionals.

Contribute to individual education plans and personalised learning programmes.

Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social, emotional and personal development.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
