We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established distribution business based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse or packing experience who are looking for long-term, ongoing work with overtime available.

The Role

Working as part of a busy packing team, you will be responsible for ensuring products are packed accurately and prepared for dispatch while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing dry food products including sweets, instant noodles, peanut butter, and other grocery items
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products are packaged correctly and free from damage
• Stacking products onto pallets safely and securely
• Shrink-wrapping pallets ready for dispatch
• Moving pallets using a pump truck
• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements

✅ Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred

✅ Good attention to detail

✅ Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment

✅ Reliable and hardworking attitude

✅ Willingness to learn and operate MHE equipment

✅ Ability to follow instructions and warehouse procedures

✅ Strong teamwork skills

✅ Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 14:00
• £12.71 per hour
• Ongoing work available

Overtime

• £16.90 per hour after 37.5 hours worked
