ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

South Indian vegetarian restaurant chain, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a hands-on hospitality professional who can support the Restaurant Manager in delivering excellent food, outstanding guest service, efficient operations, and high standards of hygiene and quality.

Assist the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

Lead and supervise the restaurant team during busy service periods.

Ensure consistently high standards of customer service, food quality and presentation.

Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure smooth shift operations.

Allocate staff duties and coordinate front-of-house and kitchen operations.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

Support staff training, coaching and performance management.

Monitor food safety, hygiene, allergen and health & safety procedures.

Assist with stock control, ordering, receiving deliveries and stock rotation.

Monitor wastage, portion control and operational costs.

Assist with cash handling, cash-up procedures and daily reporting.

Ensure restaurant cleanliness and presentation meet company standards.

Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales, service and operational targets.

Maintain a positive, professional and team-oriented working environment.
