About this role

Shared Lives Carers open their homes to provide social care and day services for three or six hours a day. These sessions are for people from the age of 18, with learning disabilities, mental health, autism and Asperger’s, physical disabilities, sensory impairment or who are living with dementia and older people and are arranged around the needs of the client.

As a self-employed carer, you work from your own home, choose your own hours, receive generous income tax incentives and can earn up to £267 per day. From the moment you decide to become a Shared Lives carer we provide a dedicated support worker to guide you.
