Teaching Assistant

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague who has a passion for working with pupils with specific areas of need.

Successful candidates will

• Be a positive role model who is committed to upholding our school ethos and values.
• Work in partnership with the class teacher to complement the teachers’ deliver of the curriculum alongside any specific intervention required.
• Able to work in a positive and calm way, supporting individuals and working with small groups to support pupils to achieve the highest standards in their learning.
• Have a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Warm, caring and patient.
• An excellent understanding of safeguarding and what creates a positive culture for safeguarding.
• Deliver interventions and support to children.
