About this role
To lead and continuously improve the complete volunteer journey - from first enquiry, safer recruitment and preparation training through to matching, development, recognition and exit, ensuring volunteers are confident, supported, competent and connected to HSCL’s values and strategic vision.
The postholder will build and nurture a vibrant volunteer community, recognise and develop each volunteer’s strengths and potential, strengthen retention, and ensure volunteers are well-prepared to support families safely and effectively. They will bring curiosity, creativity and a solution-focused approach to improving both the volunteer experience and the family support journey.
