• £41,862.13 annual salary

• HGV premium of 1.25x, subject to applicable terms
• £2,600 additional annual payment, paid monthly at £216.66
• 16% night premium for hours worked before 04:00 on qualifying early-start routes

Working Hours & Rotas

We understand that finding the right work-life balance is important. That's why there are three potential rota options available.

• Start times generally between 04:00 and 06:00
• 42 contracted hours per week
• Overtime opportunities after 42 hours worked
• Weekend working, depending on your assigned rota

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering ambient, chilled and frozen products to convenience stores across the region.

This is a multi-drop delivery role involving manual handling, customer interaction and maintaining high standards of service. Products will include groceries, alcohol and cigarettes.

You'll represent a leading logistics operation, so reliability, professionalism and a customer-focused attitude are essential.

Your responsibilities will include

• Completing approximately 4–10 deliveries per shift
• Delivering ambient, chilled and frozen products
• Handling cages, dollies, pallets and electric pallet trucks
• Delivering to convenience stores along planned routes
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork
• Following health, safety and food hygiene procedures
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery

Training & Induction

You'll receive a structured training programme to help you become familiar with the operation.

The training process includes

• A five-day induction, including an observation day out on the road on day two
• Ten shifts of buddy training, following your assigned buddy's rota
• An assessment following completion of buddy training

This ensures you have the opportunity to learn the procedures and expectations of the role before your assessment.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points, with minor offences only
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Good communication and time-management skills
• The ability to carry out multi-drop deliveries and manual handling
• Flexibility to work a rolling rota, including weekends where required

Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous.
